Another special night with special friends!

My "goddess" friends surprised me with an impromptu marking of my birthday...or shall I say birth-month?! We met at Caren's place and after so much sadness and heartache over the last month, it was amazing to see them again - still overflowing with love!

Standing in abundance - what a blessing to receive this gift of feminine energy, grace and of friendship and unconditional love!

Too much blessings!

I have diligently been giving love to my porch plant, which has been taking a beating with the seasonal summer winds. Part of the "save-my-porch-plant-campaign" included laying rose quarts around the stem...spreading the love so to speak, and doing a bit of energy healing.

This was obviously very successful, as within a week I had various birds, but in particular, a pair of doves, checking out my plant.

And then it happened...nestled between the rose quarts a perfect little white egg!

My beloved had just retrieved a discarded nest from his lawn and after hearing about "the blessing", promptly showed up with a better option for my visitors.

Needless to say, I now have constant companions on my porch. They do not mind sharing their space with me and I even got a (half-hearted) greeting when I stepped out this morning. All I can say is be careful with your blessings :)

Blessings

We just returned from an amazing travel experience in Kenya (more on his later) and I am in a reflective mood.

I feel blessed and overcome with a sense of wonder, as if this trip "plugged" me into the universal energy source. Like going back home, the time away really brought me back to myself.

I want to do something worthwhile with my time. I want to grow and experience the wonders of the world. I want to be of worth and of service to the world, I want to embrace every moment and see the joy, the good and the love in everything. I want to be comfortable in my own skin, grounded, compassionate, grateful and conscious...above all, I want to embrace the blessings I have received so abundantly.

“You do not need to know precisely what is happening,
or exactly where it is all going.
What you need is to recognize the possibilities
and challenges offered by the present moment,
and to embrace them with courage, faith, and hope.”
